The room was big and bright with a balcony. They provided wake-up service when I asked. - the location was peaceful and favorable, near buses available if required and the train station and the city.

The location was absolutely perfect for what I was looking for and for what I was expecting from it. Close to the places I wanted to reach, in one of the most beautiful cities in the world and perfectly connected to both city center and main motorways towards Chiantishire and Firenze. Clean rooms and premises, very good value for money, and the extra added value from people, nice, kind, polite, always ready to answer to requests, great Tuscan accent :)

The hotel and my room were clean and comfortable. Although the hotel was a little far from my conference site in Siena Centrale (approx. 10 min by taxi), staying at the Hotel Vico Alto was worth it for the mountaintop view, friendly staff and tranquil surrounding neighborhood.

The only inconvenience was that the 5£ internet card I bought for 2 hours had difficult internet connection much of the time. The hotel staff tried to assist me and in the end, I was not charged for the card.

Comfortable rooms with balcony and a spacious bathroom, along with air conditioning for those hot days. the location here is great, right by the bus stop if you ever need it! 🚌

I read somewhere that the hotel is located 800m from the railway station. It failed to mention that it's a 800m trek uphill and along roads with no pavement - not a good idea if you are dragging along your luggage.

I got a guest room that had a nice balcony view and a big bathroom. the location was awesome and super convenient, right by where the guests can hang out. 🌟

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room and facilities are certainly spartan, but as a base from which to explore Siena and the surrounding areas on a budget it met my requirements well. Even being a little out of town is not a huge inconvenience: the No 7 bus leaves from right near the front door of the hotel, and is an 8 minute trip into a central part of Siena.

The room was spacious (we stayed in a triple room), with a high ceiling, big bathroom. There is a small fridge in the room, no kettle, but you can ask for hot water downstairs.

I chose this hotel for attending a convention and I was impressed with the amenities it provided. The coffee shop/cafe was a great place to grab a quick breakfast before my meetings. The meeting room was well-equipped and perfect for my business needs. The concierge services were also very helpful in assisting me with any requests or reservations I had. Both business travelers and tourists can definitely enjoy the facilities and services this hotel offers.

The only thing I missed during my stay was a dedicated workspace in my room. As a businessman, I needed a quiet and comfortable area where I could work on my laptop and attend virtual meetings.

Fairly clean hotel with an amiable staff and well-kept and large rooms. Quiet location prepared to use taxis, easy to get around. Based close enough to buses available if required, and the supermarket.

The rooms at Hotel Vico Alto were absolutely fantastic. They had all the comforts I needed, from air conditioning to free Wi-Fi. The TV in the room was a great bonus, and the private bathroom was very clean and well-equipped with toiletries and a hair dryer. I felt really comfortable and at home in my room.

Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of the baths in the private bathrooms. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

Hotel Vico Alto promises a relaxing and wonderful visit. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Siena's historical center, making it convenient for exploring the city after work. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent, which was essential for my business needs. The hotel also had a cozy lounge area where I could unwind and catch up on work emails.

The shower head was absolutely awful.

I had a delightful stay at a charming hotel in Siena. The decoration was lovely, with elegant touches throughout the common areas. As a senior traveler, I appreciated the attention to detail and comfort. The hotel had easy accessibility, with ramps and handrails, making it convenient for older guests like myself.

It would have been even better if there was an elevator available. The children working there were helpful, but sometimes I found it difficult to climb the stairs carrying my luggage.
